At the end of last year (2008) and the beginning of this year (2009) I made a couple of posts declaring Randy Shankle as a false prophet. I am going to make a permanent page on the subject and address it more detailed.
I already can imagine the defences of those posts and will address them here as well.
First I must start my detailing and describing what a prophet is. A prophet is one of 5 doma gifts, also called 5 fold gifts or ascension gifts. And there are 2 basic kinds of doma’s, those set in the church and those who are not. And when I mean set in, I am speaking of leadership. These are elders or bishops.
I have a doma gift, but am not an elder or bishop. Randy on the other hand is an elder and bishop though he is disqualified to be one. See here for more on that:
http://kingdomgospel.wordpress.com/why-randy-is-disqualified/
A set in doma is one who directs and steers the church in a certain direction. Hopefully in the direction Jesus wants, as He is Head of the church.
Hence a false prophet isn’t necessarily one who has made a wrong prophecy. Though a false prophet more than likely has prophesied wrongly. But he has steered the church in the wrong direction.
I can see and hear (in the spirit) their defences from my previous posts, saying that some of the prophecies I posted here did not come from Randy. Quite true. But he endorsed them, and he used them to steer the church in a specific direction.
That direction was that he and Jerry Collum would begin a great latter day ministry together. And that death would have no power over it, and that it was the final and perfect administration.
Randy prophesied plenty along these lines, and folks can listen to them on this blog (listen to some below) and from CiM recordings. I happen to use those prophecies that are more short and precise, and some do not come from Randy.
But by observing the 2008 services one can clearly see where Randy was steering the Church in Marshall. And to utter failure because none of it came true. And death prevailed against it. And I thought we were taught that the gates of hell won’t prevail against the church? That’s because CiM is being directed by a false prophet. They are being shipped wrecked and many members are suffering for it. Sickness, disease, and death is rampant.
Here is some of what Bruce DeLay had to say about false authority:
Abusive spiritual leaders like to play by their own set of rules, which gives them an advantage. The Charismatic world has propogated certain ‘rules’, which make an autocratic leader. But Charismatics play too fast and loose with the scriptures. Here’s a couple of examples:
1) “Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm”. (1 Chron 16; Ps 105) This is commonly used to make certain leaders untouchable and unaccountable.
BUT – EVERY CHRIST-ian is “mine anointed” (‘Christ’=anointed)! I contend that Christ is that Anointed one spoken of, and that all Christians are ‘anointed’ ones. God is jealous over you – not just well-known big shots! (Also – Prophets who prophesy falsely lose their protected status.) Paul said that if we destroy God’s house, he will destroy us. (1 Cor 3). He will bring judgement how He desires.
This clip is Randy speaking Jeff Collum’s prophecy that Jerry and Randy will succeed in this in 2008:
The next clip Jerry tells us these prophecies are not a future fulfilment in the sweet bye and bye:
The Who:
This clip is Randy speaking about Jerry being in this latter ministry:
This next clip is Randy speaking about his prophecy about Jerry, Randy, and Jeff ministering together:
The What:
This clip is Jerry speaking about the ministry is not over, but will be greater, have peace, and prosperity:
The How:
In the next clip Randy speaks about the perfect 3rd administration; that nothing will stop it, not time, not death, not enemies, not friends…
Now remember we know Randy isn’t talking about the sweet bye and bye, because Jerry said otherwise above!
This next clip has Randy speaking about Jerry’s prophecy “Masada” where they speak about the enemies will not defeat them again:
The last time noted (in January 09), they had a rock on the platform carved with the word “Masada” on it. How can they be so bold to say they have not been defeated when Jerry died?
Randy even tried to raise Jerry from the dead. They believed it was gonna happen even after they did not succeed, trying to stay in faith. I had several clips where they spoke about this attempt. Some would say this raising of the dead was spiritual and not literal, but in this next clip we hear Jeff state it was literal:
So what happened, is that instead of claiming defeat, Randy got the congregation all riled up, disrespecting their demonic enemies and Jerry’s dead body, even though Jerry prophesied glories, he got disrespect. Here is Randy doing so, in this clip:
Then Randy even laughed at trying to raise the dead. Listen here:
So instead of the prophesied glories, Jerry got disrespect.
So why did Jerry die? I believe Jerry prophesied God would take him out if he didn’t follow the new David’s and stop following the Saul’s. Listen to Jerry say this here:
Jerry confronted Randy about him being a man of war. Randy spoke about this confrontation. Listen here:
Jerry knew Randy had done wrong. I cannot guess why he decided that despite this error and wrong, he would continue his ministry with Randy.
A lot of folks are ignoring these kinds of mistakes, believing Randy has the right heart and the right gifts. There also is the modern problem of universalism creeping into the church. Universalists believe everyone is going to heaven. This kind of thing gets folks to believe doctrinal error doesn’t matter. Some folks don’t think there are absolutes. And there are varying degrees of this. But this manifests in Bible believing churches by the ignoring of error.
I am not questioning Randy’s giftings? No. Do I question his heart? Some, even Maurice, believe his heart is good. But Bruce Delay has stated otherwise. Stating Randy deceives. Though perhaps if he deceived so much he deceived himself. But that is a process, a process of hardening one’s heart and conscience.
Do I think he has a bad heart? I don’t know. Randy has admitted to having the spirit of error, and making mistakes, and then excusing them because they came from his parents. Is he sorry? Has he repented? That’s the big question. I think he is sorry he got caught.
Here is Randy confessing his spirit of error:
Jeff Arrington stated on Oct 8, 2006 “be wronged, eat it, and shut up” and went on to say if the church or Randy was wrong, it was God ordained. More recently a man in Judah quoted Blaine stating they had the right to be wrong. You can hear that clip in the archives too. I think he/they have the wrong kind of repentance. Clarence Hill Sr. stated this:
http://www.kingdom-gospel.com/meeting.html
I went with other sons bound in spirit, and being warned of the things that would befall me, that is, Randy Shankle would give a pretense of repentance and arrogantly take over the meeting; without regard to an apostolic father’s administration. … As it was told me, Randy would give an arrogant display of control and non-submission to my apostolic authority, thus, bringing very little real fruit of restoration (their words were true).
I am fairly certain these words he spoke of were from Bruce DeLay who declined to go to the meeting with this being one of the reasons.
Thus it is witnessed by some Randy has a bad heart. But this is not my stance or direction. I am here showing his error, and his disqualifications. The Bible does seem to say only God knows the heart. We can only guess by looking at the fruit, but there is a lot of bad fruit.
Some of these Randy’s prophecies came from Randy’s broken watches, PDA’s (hand held computers), and other such sources. Randy stated death would not stop his ministry because Randy had a few watches stop working!
The man is clearly not qualified as an elder. He has disqualified himself.
And lastly as evidenced above, because Randy steered the church in this direction, which failed miserably:
Randy Shankle is a false prophet !!!
