a comment about Randy Shankle’s mission to tear down : We are to build up the body through the FIVE-FOLD ministry, I have never known the elders @ CIM to encourage the gifted-ness of others. They say die to self and lay down all until the appointed time (they are the ones that say when you are ready) I have yet to see them sending out anyone . The ministry there is one of tearing down the rest of the body . The Diotrephes Syndome: Diotrephes seemed to see others as a threat. Their God-given giftedness was spurned because it was different from his own. The responsibility of faithful men and women of the cross is to appreciate, affirm and advance the giftedness of others. In this we are exemplifying the ministry of Jesus Christ. All evils in the church and society stem from self-pride which seeks to disparage others, their giftings and their place before the Lord.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

I wanted to make a few comments on remarks made by Randy. I wish someone would WAKE UP #1 he speaks about talking to the dead. Is not necromancy forbidden by God? SAUL ( whom has been spoken recently on this site) consulted the witch of Endor to speak to the dead Samuel! Remember??? Please listen! something is not right!!#2 Then I hear Randy talking about needing to go tear down the work of others because it is wrong. He believes he has cornered the market on the kingdom of God and the government of God!! People should MARK and avoid ANYONE who takes that stance!!! Luke 9 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

We must remember the ministry of the saints is for the EDIFICATION OF THE BODY!! and we have been given the ministry of RECONCILIATION not tearing down!!! God is speaking to those at cim, the anointing which abides in you will guide you, if you have CHECK in your spirit that something is not right LISTEN! This man is dangerous to the body of Christ , he openly admits he talks to the dead and then boasts that he must set the rest of the body of Christ in order???!!! What will it take for people to open their eyes??? Paul the apostle: the nearer he came to the end of his life the more HUMBLE he became!!! Calling himself the least of all saints, and the chiefest of sinners, not boasting that HE was the one who must set everyone right! Please seek out our heavenly Father about these matters, he gives grace to the humble but resists the proud.

comment on broadcast I watched recently: Randy spoke about the more spiritual you become that you will hang around different more spiritual people. I have heard him remark before about not fellowshipping other brothers for whatever reason(he didn’t percieve them as spiritual) he wouldn’t contend with their soul or whatever. This is exactly what Jesus came against Matt 9 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.( including our brothers and sisters)
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
I have heard an elder there tell people if they went to a baby shower for a member whose daughter was pregnant out of wedlock they better not go to the shower (in other words do not associate with this sinful girl!) The pharisees were steeped in the word of God but were blind guides. cim are those that separate themselves even from within. How awful. We are to esteem others better than ourselves! The pharisee says ” I thank you God that I am not like that sinner over there” as you commented in your last post about Saul (the flesh) he always persecutes (David) the spirit. An elder told my husband at the exit meeting when we left “be careful not become lawless” the law of the spirit has made us free from the law of sin and death

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. The elders at cim turn the “good news” into bad news!! Please quit listening to the “revelations” and listen to the Spirit in your spirit!!!Mercy triumphs over judgement!

I wanted to put the words of our Lord out there: John 5:44 HOW CAN YE BELIEVE WHICH RECIEVE THE HONOUR ONE OF ANOTHER AND NOT THE HONOUR THAT COMETH FROM GOD ONLY??? As long as you are longing for the approval of men you are unable to believe!A characteristic of spiritually abusive systems is that a misplaced sense of loyalty is fostered and even demanded. We’re not talking about loyalty to God, but about loyalty to a given organization or leader. That is idolatry worshiping the creation more than the creator “little children keep yourselves from idols”

A common way this is accomplished is by setting up a system where disloyalty to or disagreement with the leadership is construed as the same thing as disobeying God. Questioning leaders is equal to questioning God. After all, the leader is the authority, and authority is always right. This causes people to misplace their loyalty in a leader or an organization.

There are three factors that come into play here, adding up to misplaced loyalty.

First, leadership projects a ‘we alone are right’ mentality, which permeates the system. Members must remain in the system if they want to be ‘safe,’ or to stay ‘on good terms’ with God, or not to be viewed as wrong or ‘strayed.’

The second factor that brings about misplaced loyalty is the use of ‘scare tactics.’ For example conveying the impression that:
God is going to withdraw His Spirit from you and your family.
God will destroy your business.
Without our protection, Satan will get your children.
You and your family will come under a curse.

The third method of calling forth misplaced loyalty is the threat of humiliation. This is done by publicly shaming, exposing, or threatening to remove people from the group.
In the abusive system, it is the fear of being exposed, humiliated or removed that insures your proper allegiance, and insulates those in authority. You can be ‘exposed’ for asking too many questions, for disobeying the unspoken rules, or for disagreeing with authority. People are made public examples in order to send a message to those who remain.

WHEN YOU SEE A RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION HIDING THINGS WATCH OUT!!PEOPLE DO NOT HIDE WHAT IS APPROPRIATE!!!

One reason spiritually abusive families and *mosques* are secretive is because they are so image conscious. People in these systems can’t even live up to their own performance standards, so they have to hide what is real. Some believe they must do this in order to protect God’s good name. So how things look and what others think becomes more important than what’s real. They become God’s ‘public relations agents.’ The truth is, He’s not hiring anyone for this position!

I wanted to make a few comments , I do believe that soon the elders @ cim will tell their members not to read things on the internet( Bad sign) so hopefully a few might see these things. How many have EVER left cim and not marked offended?? Very few if any. THINK! If you do you are shunned right?? Yes. How aweful. I have been shunned even while there by family members. For what I do not know. Leaving is a painful process. Have they had secretive meetings? Yes,I have attended some( Red Flagg) Randy once said the devil always targets those in worship. Why does HE SAY THAT?? Because true worshippers must be very discerning!! And they can see!!! Are you in fear of rebuke from the leaders?? If you don’t submit you are in sin? Then their tactics are working. Does your leader or leaders have a persecution complex or conspiracy theories against him??? Is leaving cim equal to leaving God?? Are you discouraged to associate with those who have left?? Does your spiritual leader consider it evil persecution when critized or questioned? Do the goals of you leaders seem to supercede any personal goals or individual interests? Why does’nt someone WAKE UP!!!! I have personally experienced being yelled @ by an ELDER (for what I still do not know) and while I was crying hysterically, He started laughing!!!! I later saw his wife, and acted as if nothing happened I hugged her and told her I loved her and she said “thank you for talking to me” then when I saw her during the meetings she shunned me. I later confronted her and asked her why? she said “have you ever heard of the sufferings of Christ?” Yes I had & have. But that is sick. THINK! after the incident with the elder I saw him the next Sunday @ church and tried to just be humble “agree with my adversary quickly” even though I had done no wrong, I approached him and said “brother ___ if i have done anything to offend you I am sorry” before I could get the words out of my mouth he took his hand and shooed me away. God forgive him, I do and pray for his recovery. He attended the EXIT meeting with my husband & another elder because he was afraid of being UNCOVERED but to my husband’s honour he said nothing, another brother weeks later said I don’t know why ya’ll left if you were handled roughly by the elders or what? as if to say this type of thing happens all the time. It has & does. This type of eldership rule is completely unscriptural THINK!!! I do know by revealing these things my idenity will be made known. That’s O.K. I am known by the one who counts and I fear Him not MAN. WHO DO YOU FEAR??? you have been taught that if you don’t fear man (the leaders) you don’t fear God. I was @cim several different times but was known by Randy because I was one He tried to shame from the pulpit (for what I don’t know) I was in a physically abusive marriage but I was the one who got noticed?? Perverse. I had a meeting with Jeff and he was very empathetic to the things I was saying, then he called Randy to sit in. Well when Randy showed up Jeff’s demeaner completely changed he agreed with all the things Randy was saying(that is sad Jeff did not used to be like that) that’s the way it is though you come to cim happy and full of life and then you become hard and religious) THINK! I got very upset and asked him why he deems it necessary to slice and dice people from the pulpit?? I was crying and very upset. But Randy just got up and walked out. Seems to me He should have @ least asked what was the matter?? but he just got up and left. When I returned to cim He knew me very well I was marked! I had a PASSING UNDER THE HAND meeting when I returned years later and Jeff pounded his hand on his desk and said well are you ready to submit!!? I was in tears by the time I left that meeting also. I asked Jeff are you mad @ me from before??I believe he may have been instructed to treat me harshly.hmmm? I came back to marshall because THE LORD told me to!!! I did not want to,I was well aware of things @cim that is why I was a MARKED sheep!!! But I met my wonderful husband a very godly man although never deemed of any significance to cim. I have suffered being shunned by his family I forgive them all, although it hurt deeply, why was I shunned?? I don’t know that’s just the way it is there.Sufferings of Christ? yes I know only some and embrace every one!!! That is how we know Him. The suffering that he was “rejected by the ELDERS and of chief priests and scribes” Luke 9:22 Ezekiel 34 “this is what the sovereign Lord says Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves!Should not shepherds take care of the flock?? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock! You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have ruled them harshly and brutally. God forgive you I already had and do. MY HEART ACHES for thse @ cim who can never live up to feeling approved of by God so they will take the approval of men. I imploy you all SEEK GOD’S WILL.!!! “my sheep hear my voice AND ANOTHER THEY WILLNOT FOLLOW. By their fruits you will know them, Discern the HOLY GHOST IS IN YOU, but you willbe told you are independent, rebellious, you know the drill!! WE ARE DEPENDENT ON OU HEAVENLY FATHER not someone who twist things for his own advantage !!! Peter could not have been clearer. HE explicitly states to lead by example,not as a lord. He said to serve as an OVERSEER and not to force people into submission. In other words lead, but not by compulsion. Which one of you would bring these things to the elders and say what of it ??? I know from experience, If you leave you will pay but the return for fearing God not MAN is the COMFORT OF THE HOLY GHOST who God GIVES TO THOSE WHO OBEY HIM. Paul spoke of Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not recieve us. THEREFORE I WILL CALL TO MIND HIS DEEDS. and not content with that, he himself does not recieve the brethren, and forbids those who wish to putting them out of the church!! Yes I AM A WOMAN submitted to my husband and have his blessing to write what I do. How many women in history died for much less??? Jesus was killed by the religous of his time who also said “He hath a devil!!” Please go to God and hear HIM
