In Dec of 2004 a former elder of CiM decided to write a letter to the public about Randy Shankle and allowed me to publish it on my website. It was up for over a year on my site before he finally asked me to take it down. This occurred early in 2006. He had decided he had done enough to help former CiM members and those who were looking for info about Randy and wanted to get on with his life and ministry. But it wasn’t a complete cut off as he continued to make small contributions to a forum with ex-CiMers on it. Though it did become a decreasing element and one which he stated there and elsewhere he was wishing to be done with it and move on.
I have discussed this forum elsewhere, like here:
http://kingdomgospel.wordpress.com/2007/08/25/the-fall-of-a-forum/
The forum remains going but barely, it’s all but dead. There was another small complication during this time frame. A certain other webmaster who posted and probably still posts teachings from Randy on his website got angry at me for linking to his site. I do not reject all of Randy’s teachings many of which are the foundations of many of my website teachings. I do have certain issues with some of his teachings and discuss this here:
http://www.kingdom-gospel.com/error.html
Thus when certain teachings I also had on my website correlated with such, I linked to this website as another example of the teachings I thought were doctrinally sound. The webmaster discovered this and was upset because I uncovered Randy’s errors and he didn’t want my site connected to his at all even if we agreed on certain teachings from Randy. He asked me to remove the links. I declined and he threatened to take me to court. All data I seen on this matter states anyone can link to another person’s site as long as the link is not used in a derogatory manner, nor if the link is put in a frame on your website posting the content of the other site making it look like it was your work. I did nothing like this but he went to the forum, made a stink there, emailed the elder because I had links to him and he to me, and was thus blaming him as well and threatening to sue this former elder of CiM.
So with the elders help, I decided to remove these links. I removed every link to the offended webmaster and most of the links to the elder’s website, but not all. But as stated this occurred at about the same time he decided he was done with CiM. He had received over 50 emails thanking him for publishing this letter and many those folks made decisions to not move to Marshall or to leave Marshall and other such testimonies.
So you can no longer find his letter on my website out of respect for his request, and I have not named him to help with this request. However, it is my opinion as he is a former elder of CiM he has more authority and responsibility to help the wounded from CiM. While he has agreed for me to send requests to him from others for help, he has asked me not to publish his name or email address publicly, thus he still offers some small help at times. However since then, only 1 person has made such a request, through these channels, however others have been sent to him by me from other sources. People tend to want to talk to just me, or contact him directly rather than me be a bridge between them I guess.
I am not his bishop and cannot correct him or tell him his duty or responsibilities. I am not his Lord. I wish he would do more, I have personally seen how effective it is when he goes public. I still post Clarence Hill’s letter, for example, see here:

A few years ago I discovered what is called the “Wayback Machine” it’s an internet archive and found here:
http://www.archive.org/index.php
Only within the last year did I realize that this former elder’s letter can still be seen there. That website is NOT mine, nor do I host any content there. However you can find 3 copies of that page on the archive:

There is a 2nd location of the Wayback Machine located in Alexandria, Egypt found here:

And the letter from this former CiM elder can be found in 3 locations on their server as well:

So why am I sharing this? Because some accused me of lying that such a letter never existed, and I believe it gives more evidence to the sins of Randy Shankle. Please note that the email address you find on that page is outdated and I will NOT publicly share the new one. As that would be a breach in my agreement.
