Apr 27 with New Features

April 27, 2008

I will be adding more media to my blog as time goes by. I have started recording the messages from CiM. Since some folks claim I make up or lie about what they say or their stances.

If you left click on it to play, you will see a small audio player. Just click on the main part or the play arrow to hear it. Or if you hover your mouse pointer over it you will see another audio player which you can click on.

Often you may have heard me talk about how CiM claims their errors are God ordained. Such as on Oct 8, 06 Jeff said,be wronged, eat it, and shut upand went on to say if they (the church and elders) were wrong it was God ordained. In this next audio file you will hear Jeff discussing this (ordaining error) again from the Apr 27th 08 service.

God can use our errors to help people, but this doesn’t mean our errors are God ordained. If thats’ true, then why isn’t Randy and Jeff going to a Catholic church? Why don’t they just eat Catholic error and be happy?

In this next audio file Jeff goes on to talk about freedom people claim to have when they leave CiM.

While some people and kids want to get away from authority, many people have left CiM because of abuse. Which is NOT ordained. Perhaps Randy and Jeff think Israel should go back to Egypt and go back to slavery?

In the next clip Jeff talks about how some claim God changes His mind about folks coming or staying at CiM.

There may be some truth to some people’s error on this issue, but Jeff and Randy should know this error, as they have caused it with doctrines such as “Kisser/Cleaver”. Some people have been called to CiM, but that doesn’t mean the call is permanent. I was called to go to school there. God didn’t change His mind. I missed God by staying at CiM longer than I was supposed to.

In the next clip Jeff talks about how people must accept their error and just forgive.

It is true we are to forgive, but Paul also says this:

Rom 16:17: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

This blog, as well as my website, explain what steps must be taken when a bishop or elder makes error. While I do not condemn forgiving him and in fact encourage folks to do so, and even have been despised for saying this by some who are bitter, forgiveness is needed, as I discuss in my CiM Survival Guide:

http://kingdomgospel.wordpress.com/cim-survival-guide/

If you are interested in hearing Jeff’s whole message about this in its entirety and hearing it in it’s context, here is the file (its not the whole message but does include the 4 1/2 minutes he discussed this subject from the Apr 27, 08 service)

April 20th

April 20, 2008

Not much to report. I have however noticed that CiM hasn’t mentioned Jerry Collum in a few weeks nor have they listed him as a speaker in the coming events. Perhaps, just maybe, Jerry has pulled the plug. This is speculation, only based on observance, and I hope it’s a correct one. However the following men are scheduled to speak:

HB Seymour

Shelley Alley

Tracy Hearnsburger

If you can contact them and persuade them otherwise, that would be great, I do not know much about these men.

I also noticed that when Linda misinstered today, she broke the scriptural principles about women ministering. She had asked either the congregation to stand up or to raise their hands, can’t remember which, perhaps both, but a woman cannot direct the church in any direction.

Let’s say God is calling a local church to fast. A woman cannot declare this to the church. She would be moving the members in a certain specific direction which is not a generalized scriptural mandate. A woman could teach about fasting, but not order it to happen.

I discuss women’s ministry in detail here:

http://www.kingdom-gospel.com/doma2.html

I know when I was at CiM, one goal was to teach the people to minister and later teach them how or the order thereof. Focusing on getting the gifts manifested. They focused on the 1st part of this verse:

1 Cor 14:40: Let all things be done decently and in order.

They would say they would worry about the “decently and in order” later.

I would certainly think that Linda has had ample time in discipleship training, she was there when I was there and probably there before I was there.  She should certainly be doing her ministry “decently and in order” by now.  Some may say that having the congregation stand up or raise their hands won’t hurt anything. But remember what Jesus said:

Math 7:21: Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?

23: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.

There may indeed be a time and season where “decently and in order” can be over looked. Perhaps in discipleship classes or services where the general public are not involved or when the service is not being broadcasted. But this is further evidence that Randy and CiM are letting ministry happen for the sake of building up their own legitimacy. This may be directly involved with the problem which started a year or so ago when Randy began promoting women’s ministry. It was a very big issue with some folks. Because of that I covered that problem, it wasn’t a big issue with me, until this kind of thing occurs or other problems manifest as I stated at that time.

An example of Randy’s error

April 6, 2008

I recently watched a Star Trek: Enterprise episode that reminded me of Randy and his error. The following video is 45 seconds of this episode. One man claims to be a representative of the “Makers” and is a leader of a certain faction. One of his subordinates has doubts about this leaders actions and the incident they are involved in which has brought violence to folks who helped them. The leader states that if he represents the Makers then when anyone doubts him, they doubt the Makers and that means they are now involved in heresy. He goes on to say that anyone who does not accept his message is an enemy and anyone who sympathizes with an enemy has stepped into heresy themselves.

Randy and CiM are so guilty of all these errors. Randy has told people that he hears God’s will for people and that they must submit to him to be in God’s will. He even said this to Bruce DeLay! The CiM administration are also guilty of alienating people who disagree with them, making them heretics in their eyes. Randy teaches men to be hunters, but Jesus taught His disciples to be fishers of men.

Rom:2:4: Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

If using Star Trek as a teaching tool for the gospel interests you, I have a page on my website where I use the Star Trek Borg as a simile of another doctrine. Although it does not deal with Randy or CiM:

What’s up with Jerry Collum?

April 6, 2008

I have not heard back anything from Jerry. If anyone out there may have more influence please contact him to keep him from getting drunk on Randy’s “wine” and falling into error and compliance with Randy’s error.

Jerry’s contact info can be found here:
