Today there were several “words” or prophecies given which I believe Randy correctly interpreted to be about people giving up their stance emotionally and growing in Christ.

But why is it that he continues to interpret these for those who are offended at him? I don’t know the percentage is of those who leave who are offended and walk in that offence. I have discussed this before. Lets make it a bad scenario for the worse although I seriously doubt this, but lets say 75% of those leave are offended and continue in the offence. Why is it Randy continues to speak about them and not the 25% who are growing in God and waiting for Randy to grow himself?

Isn’t Randy and his administration holding onto their emotions rather than logic concerning the bad things they have done? Why does this “word” have to be targeted elsewhere rather than to the house at CiM 1st?

Randy has admitted that the internet allegations are true, Jeff has said that we should eat the wrong and shut up.

Randy continues on Jeff’s idea of forgetting these sins and wrongs when he said today, which I believe he has said before, that even Paul claims to have hurt no man, because Paul did his crimes when he was in the Old Man.

Paul’s statement and these wrongs were done before Paul was even born again. Randy did them as a bishop. Scripture says:

1 Tim 3:2  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Titus 1:
6  If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
7:  For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

These wrongs cannot be forgotten until Randy repents. Obviously he and they have not repented when they say “eat it and shut up” and the wrongs they claim were God ordained.

Randy is emotionally attached to his ministry and will not let reason or scripture take away his bishoprick.  Even when the above verses make it so. I have yet ever see him deal with those verses.

Did Paul just forget it when Peter wronged the gentiles? No Paul confronted Peter. Peter as a bishop did wrong, and so Paul confronted him and Peter was corrected. Randy has never truly repented for the wrongs he has done. He claims he has called a few people in the last few weeks to apologize to some who were offended. But has he changed any administrative stances? Has he sent wives back to husbands whom he separated them from? Has he fixed church splits?

No, he simply apologizes to the person for them being offended by Randy, when he was obeying God when doing wrongs against them. How laughable is that! It’s disgraceful.

And as handtoplowyahoocom said in his comment on my Consequence vs Condemnation page, “I pray that Randy and those response for hurting God’s sheep would really repent. Instead of making the sin of being offended worse than the the original wrong doings against them.”

Dr. Kennedy lies about Babylon

December 9, 2007

Every once in awhile I listen to Dr Kennedy of Coral Ridge Ministries on his program Truths that Transform. He often gives out good information I find educational and beneficial. Today was not such a time.

However I believe its the spirit of the times, rather than an error on his part. However, this points to him being led by such rather than God.

He claimed Babylon was prophesied to never be rebuilt and it wouldn’t be. This is a partial truth. While such prophecies do exist, the scriptures also say that Babylon would be destroyed beyond habitation. Yet when it was destroyed centuries ago it was not destroyed beyond habitation. People have lived there since then. And yes it has been rebuilt by Saddam Hussein.

You can see pictures here:

Scripture tells us in the last days the anti-christ will use Babylon, and then God will destroy it beyond habitational use. Ministers who refuse to read scripture literally will hide facts such as Babylon so that people will listen to their scriptural errors.

Even the Jews recognize that Saddam rebuilt Babylon:

UPDATE

Coral Ridge Ministries contacted me to let me know that Dr. Kennedy had died. They also believe that the prophecies about Babylon are true because Babylon is not a habitated city. Its just a tourist attraction. Do we really think that God dinks around and says a prophecy about destroying something that it will be a nice tourist attraction? But regardless it is habitated by people, U.S. Marines lived in tents inside the palace because the palace was barren from looters. Pictures from the link above show local children be photographed with tourists. Photos also show modern buildings in the background. History tells us of peoples who lived there since it fell.

Scripture tells us to:

1Thes:5:20: Despise not prophesyings.

Despise means to think little or lessen. This incident is an exact definition of lessening a prophecy. Only to build up the doctrines of a dead man. Revelation also gives us such warning:

Rv:22:19: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Also many scholars note that when scripture says Babylon is fallen fallen (twice) such as here:

Isaiah 21:9  … Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

Revelation 14:8  And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen…

Revelation 18:2  And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen…

This means the city will have 2 destructions. This also is apparent when you read scripture literally. As I have discussed before here:

http://kingdomgospel.wordpress.com/2007/09/11/a-major-source-of-division-how-to-understand-scripture/

It is always a sad thing to see a ministry or minister reinterpret scriptures to back up their doctrines. We should always remain humble before God. If our interpretation or view of a scripture is discovered to be a contradiction of scripture when it is read literally, then it is we who should change not the interpretation of scriptures. This is how we stay fresh before God and not become stale. In the Old Testament the priests would put out fresh bread in the Temple every so often, and God Himself rained down fresh manna for his people daily.

More on Giving

December 2, 2007

Last week and this week Randy spoke on giving again. My 1st comments on his message on this subject is found here:

http://kingdomgospel.wordpress.com/2007/11/04/tithing/

While I cannot remember if he specifically condoned mandatory giving, I also think he didn’t speak against it. But he did last week after I spoke on the subject on the link above, and he spoke more about giving through the grace of God today.

I am glad he made such distinctions.

This is a positive stance I am glad he took. This does not excuse his being disqualified as an elder, however. Nor have I seen any fruit of this repentive new stance he claimed to have.

I have also heard of some minister in the area in Marshall having a meeting and speaking about Randy and CiM and some current CiM members were there as well as others, and at least one CiM member walked out. I do not know who the minister is, and am told they did not meet with Randy, or at CiM.
