Randy readdressed this teaching and the problems that are surfacing over it. I am glad he answered correctly over the situation about the confusion or ignorance of the ascension/descension ministries.
I think a lot of folks have misjudged his intention over this area, or have misjudged the woman’s place on these matters, when dealing specificly about the these gifts.
As I stated in my 1st post on this:
http://kingdomgospel.wordpress.com/2007/08/16/daughters-of-zelophehad/
That a woman cannot minister the doma gifts but can minister the other gifts.
However, I felt a lot of “yuck” on this, as I have lately on a lot of Randy’s message. We must always submit the Holy Spirit’s inclinations to the word of God, so we are not deceived by wrong spirits. As I stated at the above link:
When everything is in order its fine but since Randy is now motivated by demonic forces or carnality, the men are reluctant to back him up spiritually and the women being the weaker vessels are portering in carnal prophecies or demonic spirituals to confirm Randy.
It’s a sad state of affairs.

The big fuss comes in because arguments are afoot whether or not ministers can have meetings with women without their husbands…
…It only gets complicated because of abuse. I can understand there may be seasons where a husband may not have his wife attend a women’s meeting. But that would not be the standard.

I have shared enough on the above pages, as well as here:

Of what is acceptable and why women can have meetings. I do not wish to squash any such freedom and liberty, and any legitimate out reach, but things are unbalanced in Marshall.
I understand what Randy says what he is causing to happen. It’s simply discipleship or the maturing of gifts in the women, as well as helping women finding their place in the church, or also known as the baptism into the body. It’s the 5th baptism discussed here:
http://www.kingdom-gospel.com/baptisms.html
However, as I said it’s out of balance. There is no need for a local church to single out the women (or any other group) for so long and so much. Perhaps a bit longer if there is a problem with such a group.
But I know that CiM has had and has women who are strong in manifesting these things. And I do not believe that the percentage of those women who have not matured such grossly out numbers the men who have not.
Sure I could discuss how certain types of churches might be unbalanced toward women maturity, and other types with more mature women. But does scripture offer such an outreach or ministry as a norm? Are not these matters non-gendered?
Confusion is certainly happening because Randy is making it gendered when it is not. Even by examining his own statements when he discusses ascension and descension gifts.
So why is he pushing this? Are the women truly lacking in this spiritual maturity there? Are the men suppressing women in this area in Marshall. They didn’t when I was there, and those who have contacted me in the lasts weeks and months do not say so. Nor does watching the internet broadcasts show such. I see women ministering a lot! There is no evidence for any reasons to make this season last so long.
Randy spoke today that the Holy Spirit never contradicts Jesus as head of the church, therefore people should not usurp authority by saying the Holy Spirit said… So why is Randy following a spirit contrary to the guideline of normal church function. There should not be any prolonged ministry to the female gender, or any group.
So what motivates him? Because the spiritual men are abandoning him. This move by Randy allows him to use the women to control the weak men, and raise up daughters who will spiritually support his message. If he can raise voices that act and minister maturely, that will confirm his ministry, then he will secure his ministry longer.
The men who minister like that are getting fewer.
He even let this slip from his lips when he said that a woman in the church who spoke to Randy’s “nemesis” told her she won’t grow spiritually while she is at CiM. Randy then attacked that statement as well as whoever this person was. Why would he call them his nemesis?
1. something that a person cannot conquer, achieve, etc.: The performance test proved to be my nemesis.
2. an opponent or rival whom a person cannot best or overcome.
3. (initial capital letter) Classical Mythology. the goddess of divine retribution.
4. an agent or act of retribution or punishment.
Does not scripture state:
Eph:6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Randy feels threatened, and thus is motivated by either his flesh or demonic powers to minister so long on/about women.
