Randy does it again…he attacks those who have left Marshall stating that they have “changed” God’s will.
I would be foolish to say that such has never happened. Perhaps it has, but he is foolish to think that is the norm.
God called me to Marshall, not to live there permanently but to go to school only. That was my original plan, and that plan was from God. What changed that plan? It was Randy’s bad doctrine of “Kisser/Cleaver”. I was only going to school but when I heard Randy preach on the Kisser/Cleaver he persuaded me, that staying was the more “Godly” thing. Even though God never stated it.
Thus when things began going sour for me because I missed God by staying in Marshall too long, I sought after God and He put me back on His original path and that was to leave Marshall after having been through Discipleship school.
Now if that was my case, how many others were fooled into staying because of Randy’s Kisser/Cleaver message?
Thus it wasn’t them changing God’s will, but Randy!
Also we must realize, many people before going to Marshall may not have been trained in listening to God and understanding His will and voice. Thus many may have been called to go there for a season and were persuaded to stay by other factors.
Randy spoke of seasons today, can’t he realize that there are seasons of discipleship? Just because Randy cried out, “God give me men” does not mean these men were called to stay in Marshall forever.
And of coarse it is logical that when things go bad, christians tend to run to God faster. And thus people will hear from God that they are supposed to leave Marshall.
Now has that season or will of God changed because something went bad? No. It probably changed earlier when they had finished their training, but they had disobeyed God by staying longer, as I had done.
It still astounds me on how prideful Randy is in all this. He expects God to call all these people there and to live there forever. Perhaps some, but that would be a minority. Marshall Texas is not New Jerusalem.
